Spacious rooms, vintage decor, well-equipped kitchen, and lovely outdoor area with BBQ. Good water pressure in showers. Ideal location near beaches and walking trails. Thoughtful amenities for families with babies.

We had a lovely stay at the Coastal Country Retreat in Torquay. The property was clean and well equipped, and the owners even left chocolates for us upon arrival. They also provided a baby bath and chair, which was perfect for our little one. The location was amazing, just 5 minutes away from a beautiful beach and within walking distance to horse riding and a reservoir. The views from the house and garden were stunning, and it was peaceful and quiet. The house itself was spacious with plenty of room for our family of 5. We also appreciated the off-road parking and the great showers with good water pressure. The layout of the house was well-designed, with convenient bifold doors in the lounge. the Coastal Country Retreat was a fantastic place to stay, with easy directions and wonderful amenities.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

The property was clean and well-equipped, and the owners even thoughtfully provided chocolates and baby amenities for our little one. The house was easy to find, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. With spacious rooms, great showers, and convenient features like charger lamps and bifold doors, we were truly impressed. The location was perfect for exploring the South West Coastal path and nearby beaches. Claire, the manager, was exceptionally accommodating.
